FC Dallas vs Inter Miami
Inter Miami Draw No Bet (+333)I’m sure the people of Dallas, the loyal footballing fans of the Lonestar State, will be excited for this encounter between a pair of clubs who I’m betting are closer to their recent form, rather than their start to the season.
Because while FC Dallas finds themselves as pretty sizeable favorites in the match-up against traveling Miami; I’m not certain they’ll be the better team this evening. The Burn enters this game sitting 6th in the competitive Western conference after what’s been a very encouraging start to the season, powered by the goal-scoring prowess of Jesus Ferreira, who has 10 goals, and Paul Arriola who has 8, Dallas rocketed up the standings to start the year by scoring 27 goals through their first 17 games, while remaining stout at the back-end conceiving only 20.
However that +7 goal differential is a little miss-leading, they’ve only won the xG battle in 8/17 games —- and on the season are tied in Total xG with their counter-parts in tonight’s game (1.17xG). Moreover, Dallas has had four losses in their last 6 matches and might be struggling to adjust now that the opposition has realized just how important the duo of Ferreira/Arriola is to the Dallas attack.
So with Phil Neville's side being on a good run of form, winning three of their last four games, I’m seeing LOADS of value on the traveling Miami. Because although they’ve struggled away from home in terms of results, their xG numbers indicate perhaps a run of poor luck on the road —- and it just feels like there’s being a little too much value on home/road splits in general for the MLS. So with that in mind —- I’m loading up a unit on a +333 play, hoping it’s a BANK SHOT.
